These are not new pictures, but always look so great whenever I look at them.
Back in 1999, when David Beckham and Victoria were at their height in UK fame, they went to a party dressed head to toe in matching leather suits. They looked brilliant, made everybody stop and take note and hopefully allowed a lot of others to match what they had done at similar parties.
Anyhow – I wanted to share as I think they both looked amazing – maybe I need to get my leathers out for the next party I go to.

I watch a lot of music videos and I see a lot of cool clothes that inspire many of my fetishes.
One of the biggest acts in the world right now has to be Lady Ga Ga. Love her or hate her, she is taking over the music industry.

You only have to watch some of her videos to realise she also has some fetish inspired clothing. Is is all down to her main fashion designer, Jaiden rVa James.
Searching the web the designer and looking through their fashion shows, they certainly walk the line between fashion and fetish.
One collection in particular is eye catching. With items such as straightjackets, latex leggins with zips everywhere. Some people have even left comments on their blogs asking where to buy the straightjackets. Does this mean we are going to see lots of guys in their late teens, early twenties walking around town in straitjackets as the next big thing?

I for one would not object to seeing guys like this in this sort of gear!

Inspired by Straightjacketed and his leather sightings entries in his blog – I thought I would comment on how wonderful it is to so so many leather shirts being worn by young guys in London.
In the UK the tale started about two years ago when a clothing designer called “All Saints” bought out their leather rock shirt.
The shirt was a simple leather affair with chrome press studs everywhere – and could be dressed up or dressed down. Taken up by many a pop star or rich and famous celeb, it did not take long to catch on and ripple through to the general public. Walking through London or catching a train usually means a sighting or two as you catch guys wearing the great shirts.
OK – some might argue that the shirt is actually a jacket but I don’t – I see it as a shirt and as such it brings a whole new avenue of leather wear to the mainstream. Leather shirts have always featured in the typical gay image – but these new designs look so good, trendy and slick that they have reached out to a new younger straight market plus also look so good on those who wear them. They always catch my eye whenever I see one being worn.
Unfortunately for me the brand in question design clothes made for skinny blokes with no excess weight so I could not own such a shirt, but luckily for me, eBay came to the rescue as there are a few companies out there making great replicas. If you can’t find any on eBay – there are companies online that sell such shirts – one such site – should you need it is HERE.
Nowadays, lots of other brands have jumped on the leather shirt bandwagon and the bloke on the street has many choices. For me this is wonderful as the more leather we see on the streets the better.

Away from the straightjacket topics, one of the areas of fetish I have is clothing. One of the areas I have loved to see take off recently has been the development of hoods on jackets that zip right up to the top of the hood.
Starting off in the States, an urban fashion designer started the trends by making sweatshirts that had great big hoods, zips that would seal your head away and colourful designs on the outisde of the hood.
This started quite a trend which has been great to see develop. OK some people who wear these may be doing so for a fashion statement, but I am sure there are a few that enjoy it from a fetish point of view as well. With the first wave of jackets / hooded tops sporting full zip hoods but no way to see out, it was not going to be long before that problem was solved.
A new range of jackets and hoodies came out, allowing the user to see again. Mesh or plastic eye inserts were created into the hood, meaning you could now keep your hood up and see what was going on.
From a fetish point of view, these jackets / hoodies provide a great opportunity. Now you could gear up, encase yourself in a full zip hoodie and take to the streets. The popularity of these new styles then took on a whole new fanbase as jackets were made and adopted by the youth in the UK. The jacket featured hoods with perspex eyes and a zip that meant your head was fully obscured. Needless to say some groups adopted it as their favourite item when committing crime as the police had no idea who to arrest.
The press had a field day as they tried to ban these items. I must admit I have not seen too many being worn out and about, but I have seen them on occasions. The thought that you don’t know who is behind the hood, what they look like or what they are wearing is intriguing.
The high street shops in the UK have all picked up on these ideas and run with their own versions of these jackets. You don’t have to go far these days to find one in one shop or another. From the serious Italian designers to the knock off London shops that copy anything and everything as soon as it hits the streets, the full zip hoodies are there.
A great variation on this came out a year or so back when an American company released a full zip jacket that was transparent – so when you sealed the full zip hood up your face was hidden and protected but you could still see out – even if the lack of air holes meant things got a bit warm.
Taking the idea slightly along a different tact, it’s really good to see the amount of people – mainly young kids who simply adore their hoods. One, two, three or even four hoods can be spotted on some teenagers out and about on the streets.
The best examples of these have to be snorkel parkas, which have had a lovely revival over the last five years or so. From the classics coming back from second hand shops through to new and exciting variations, it’s great to see them back.
What does all this have to do with fetish though – as some of you may not share some of these interests.
Well – for me – the hood offers options. I have got myself fully rubbered up – full suit – hood etc – padlocked on, then some street clothes over the top – full zip hoodie or jacket and maybe a snorkel parka over the top and then gone for a long walk. Being hidded away with nobody aware what you are doing or wearing is a great buzz. Of course you have to choose your timings right – right time of the day and year as not to attract too many strange looks but it’s easy to do – especially at night.
The most extreme I have ever done was: Full rubber catsuit with feet, gloves and hood. Butt plug and CB3000, gag locked over head. Padlocks on suit zips. Normal clothes over the top. Hooded top with just eye holes to see through. Snorkel parka over the top. Then leather fist mitts locked on, hands put into parka pockets and sent out for a walk and told not to come back in less than 60 minutes. I had to walk around the block quite a few times, guessing the time as I had no watch before heading home and ringing the bell to be let back in. OK – it was 9pm at night but the thrill was stunning and I really enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended.
One of the most interesting things I found on the net was about a school in the UK. It’s a private school containign some wealthy kids and a while back a huge row kicked off about young women being allowed to wear a burka as part of their religion. After a few meetings with parents and the kids, it was decided that anybody had the right to wear whay they wanted as long as it was adhered to. Some kids took advantage of the situation and decided to wear hoodies every day of the school year, whilst others opted for snorkal parkas. The condition was that for every second that they were in the school – the had to wear the garments as intended. Some of the kids had written how they spent all of the school life behind a long snorkel hood and loved it.
I wish I had found a school like that when I was a kid.
